Tunable Peak and Notch Filters


With the VEC-841K, you can instantly zero in SSB/CW signals with tunable peak and notch filters. Eliminate interference. Zero in with the frequency control and adjust the bandwidth for best response. Peak or notch signals with double tuned filters for extra steep skirts. Tune the frequency from 300 to 3000 Hz and vary the bandwidth from 80 Hz to nearly flat.


Notch is a deep 50 dB. Tunable peak filter improves CW, SSB, AM, SSTV, and RTTY signals. This tunable SSB/CW Audio filter gives you constant output when bandwidth is varied, linear frequency control and tighter, smoother notch. Works with any receiver or transceiver. Plugs into phone jack. 1 watt amplifier for external speaker. Speaker and phone jacks. Speaker disables when phones are plugged in. Uses 12 VDC at 300 mA.


Skill Level: Intermediate Requires more involved construction, you may use some test gear for final adjustment or tuning.
